The Shlansky's and Shlanski's are from Vilner, Poland and Eishyshok, Poland. and we think they are related either to the Berkowitz family or the Yanklevich from Vilner and Eishyshok, Poland. The links are at the bottom of the page.
A lot of the information came from the books 'There Once was a World A 900 Year Chronicle of the Shtetl of Eishyshok' by Yaffa Eliach. and 'Tradition and Modernism in the Shtetl Aisheshuk 1919-1939' by Ellen Livingston.
